Variable Installation

I wanted  this project to follow  the train route  from Maastricht to Rome  stopping over  in Strasbourg. Before me, stood the construction of the European Union, the Treaty of Rome , the Parliament of Strasbourg, and the Maastricht Treaty...  A  perfect sort of illustration, the formal European ideal in construction, reconstruction ... The dry grass will set fire to the damp grass, African proverb, was relevant to me  this point. , This construction  in Europe initially turned its back on the East and, for a second time, on the developing countries ... As if the European Union’s goal was  to heal its old wounds. But the world has changed  in other ways . This is the first time that a  bathtub full of water appears in an installation.  During which, three actors were involved.  At the opening of the exhibition,  they washed the floor and rinsed their mops in the bathtub. The bath water  remained dirty  for the duration of the exhibition  full of the dirt and dust.
